    Judge, High Commercial Court in Banja Luka

    Member of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC BiH)

    Term: 02/2025 – 02/2029

    Mr Velimir Ninković was born in 1967 in Glamoč, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

    He graduated from the Banja Luka Faculty of Law in 1992 and passed the bar exam in 1996 in Banja Luka.

    In 1998, he was appointed a judge of the Basic Court in Banja Luka, then in 2005, as a judge of the Municipal Court in Travnik. In 2007, he was appointed as a reserve judge of the District Court in Banja Luka.

    On 1 December 2010, he assumed the position of judge at the High Commercial Court in Banja Luka, a position he still holds today.

    In October 2024, judges of the district courts, the High Commercial Court in Banja Luka, the basic courts, and the district commercial courts in Republika Srpska elected him as a member of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
