    Establishment of a system of confidential counseling in the judiciary in Bosnia and Herzegovina

    In cooperation with the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EU4Justice Project, on 26th March 2025, a workshop on the confidential counseling system was held in Sarajevo.

    The workshop discussed key challenges that confidential counselors face or may face in their work, as well as opportunities for improving the system of confidential counseling. Special emphasis was placed on raising awareness among the judicial community about the existence of this system, establishing sustainable practices, and continuing education of confidential counselors.

    The training was attended by elected confidential advisors and experts from France.

    In this regard, we would like to remind you that the HJPC BiH, at its session held on 20th and 21st March 2024, adopted the Guidelines for the Establishment of a System of Confidential Counseling in the Judiciary in Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to point 1.10. the following is provided: "The list of confidential counselors shall be published on the websites of judicial institutions, the HJPC BiH, the Judicial Commission of the Brčko District of BiH, the CJPT FBiH, the CJPT RS and the associations of judges, prosecutors and legal associates in BiH."
